The 60% shield from transformation (and the 50% shield from fiery escape) is VERY nice everywhere there is chip damage or dots. Paladin has some pretty good magical explosions with a mix of light and dark magic filling the screen. I don't think there are any winrate stats publicly available, but soulfist is a good class in PvP in my opinion. It has really strong burst.
